year career in the energy and infrastructure delivery business areas, having held senior management
and Executive roles in both public sector and private sector organisations,

Executive Business Advisory & Major Project Delivery
- Energy Sector Commercial Advisory – from understanding energy markets (Michael is an ex
energy trader and risk manager – he led PwC’s AsiaPac’s financial risk management practice
and has also worked in power generation; power networks and energy retailing) through to
energy cost optimisation strategies across all industries including undertaking the
commercial evaluation of adopting renewable energy/target zero strategies - Corporate strategy and development – leading-developing strategic direction and
formalising through Business Plans (5 year, rolling 2 year) - Corporate governance and risk – adopting contemporary corporate governance in
organisations including ensuring “risk” is appropriately and transparently reported (Michael
is GAICD qualified) - Infrastructure Delivery – Business case development and options analysis. From inception,
through governance gating processes to final executive and board approvals (Michael is
adept at presenting complex projects-business cases to executives and Board’s) - Infrastructure Delivery – Leading the delivery of work programs (PMO) and major projects –
executive leadership and program-project management - Asset Management – Ensuring strong attention to optimising O&M costs and initiating data

generation businesses operating hydro, gas and coal technologies and as an executive in a
renewable energy start up – solar, batteries, hydrogen; microgrid applications - Executive responsible for business development (Series A capital raise) developing
the 5 year business plan and financials - Lead for Port of Brisbane “target zero” strategy to employ renewable energy
technologies to achieve net zero emissions by 2030

Michael has operated as an executive in power distribution business and understands the regulatory pricing processes and inherent risks for
market participants and energy customers; roles include Asset Management of a $1Bn+ regional distribution network (urban and rural)
